Stories II
This is a continuation of Stories. It is a collaboration Dannielle and I have been working on, visually expressing her story.
The original concept for this portion was to use roses covered in raindrops. The roses themselves would represent love and success, while the raindrops ("tears") represented the deep pain felt when those things crumble. Maybe you broke up with your best friend or you realized life is not always the fairytale made famous in children's films. Humanity is fragile and moments will shatter. Life is not always the fairytale. But through all of this, the Holy Spirit (The Dove) is always with us. Christ comforts, heals, and helps us put the pieces back together.
Although the concept fell through, it might just be perfect this way. It actually mimics its own story. Things do not always go according to plan, but there is perfect, unbreakable beauty in the brokenness.
