Stories

What do you hold onto most tightly? What makes you the most happy? The most sad? What are the things you are running from or burying deep down inside, not wanting to see them ever again? What is one positive thing a person has told you or done for you that you still hold onto today? Do they know? What are your dreams?

The questions are endless and the answers are beautiful. I am drawn to our stories. Our stories are what define us. In such a fast-paced world, with everyone on the clock, often times are stories are passed over. Our very existence has been replaced with routine. Vague, surface chatter has replaced the depth of conversation.

Slow down. Notice the details. Ask questions. You may not receive all the answers, but even the way one tucks away their answers is very telling about them. We are deep. We are beautiful. We are storytellers.

Thanks again, Dannielle, for collaborating and helping me out with school!! [Also, to all of her friends adding me on Facebook, I know you are all great people but I try to keep my personal Facebook limited to people I have actually met. I am honored and I appreciate the feedback more than you know! I am ecstatic that you love the photos and are noticing how amazing Dannielle is through them. But you would not be her friends if she was not, right? ;) I hope to meet you all one day, but in the meantime, you are more than welcome to follow me on my photography Facebook Page. Feel free to like or comment; I will definitely communicate with you there! =)]
