Heroine
I had an assignment recently where I needed to capture the story of someone close to me in three photos. I wanted Danielle for this short series; we had already been talking about shooting more photos, so she was a natural fit.
I appreciate and love the deep stories we all have, and all the little things that make us who we are. In this instance, Danielle is beautiful and in every way a Fall girl. (Just look at that outfit! Amazing.) When you need her, you get the Danielle you see in the (bonus) photo above. To say she is kind and caring is an understatement. However, she has this no-nonsense, strong, resilient side to her as well.
This photo speaks for itself, I think. All I can say is that I am glad I am on her good side! Haha. Seriously, I wanted to show that tough side of her in juxtaposition with her gentleness. She can hold her own. She knows how to wield that bow, too; it is not a prop! From my understanding, she is pretty good. I have no doubt that is true!
We were going for a Lara Croft or Katniss-esque vibe; an adventurer, or heroine. For this, we went to the top of Mt. Erie, which overlooks the Island where we live. Again, another piece of herself.
I will leave you all with one last photo from the day. Thank you, Danielle!!! You have been so incredibly helpful and gracious, especially these last few months!
