Bethany
Meet Bethany! She has been a wonderful friend of mine for a few years now. Our schedules (especially her's these days) are crazy, so we do not get many moments to even sit down and chat. Thankfully, yesterday worked out and we spent the afternoon at Deception Pass taking fall portraits.
Although some of the photos are not perfect, these are my favorite photos I have taken of her. The series exudes Bethany's gentleness and warm spirit, as well as that of the season itself.
We all have something inside that makes us who we are. It goes beyond the friendly "Hello" and the staple follow up, "How are you?" I enjoy the moments when we are able to share our true selves, and I am always giddy when I am able to capture those moments in photographs. Even if those moments are sometimes weeks or months between.
