Golden Hour Experiments

For someone who hates taking landscape photos, I sure do take plenty of them! Ha. The sunset last night was gorgeous, but rather than taking a typical sunset photo, I experimented with the finer details of the golden hour light on the water and illuminated textures.

Although I am colorblind (As in I often mix colors up.), I am able to spot good light, and the camera helps me see the colors of the world. I just love the texture and color of this driftwood lying on the beach.

One last thing I experimented with was the shallow depth of field and really using it to focus in on the waves rolling in. The waves are like nature's fleeting sculptures, and I am glad to have been able to capture one of them in a frame!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and enjoy this sunshine while we have it! Spring officially begins tomorrow!!
